A sexual harassment FIR has been registered against 'Dhurandhar' production designer Saini S Johray following a complaint filed by a woman in Chandigarh, police said. The case was registered at Sector-17 police station after a preliminary enquiry.
According to a report by India Today, the woman alleged that she was sexually harassed, physically assaulted, and wrongfully confined during a meeting at a hotel. The investigation is currently underway.
Complaint details and allegations
The complainant, a resident of New Delhi, filed her complaint on April 20. Police registered the FIR under Sections 74, 79, 123, and 126(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
In her statement, she alleged that Johray called her to a room at the Taj Hotel in Sector-17 for a professional discussion. She further claimed that no other crew members were present at the meeting, Hindustan Times reported.

She alleged that he pressured her into consuming an alcoholic drink, after mixing wine and rum, which caused her condition to deteriorate. She further stated that she was touched inappropriately and physically assaulted after falling ill.
Further allegations and investigation
The woman also alleged that Johray continued to harass her after the incident by filing complaints against her, causing mental distress.

She said she had been introduced to the production team through a college connection. She said that she was hired as an assistant art director on September 2, 2025. She also claimed that Johray introduced himself as her mentor on set, as per HT.
Police confirmed that an investigation is in progress. No statement has been issued by Johray on the incident as of yet.
