Ever since its launch, the teaser for Yash's film 'Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups' has garnered immense criticism for an intimate scene with a woman inside the car. Amid this seemingly never-ending backlash, the Brazilian actor and model who appeared in the scene appears to have deleted her Instagram account.

Cemetery girl goes off Instagram

After the teaser dropped on January 8, it led to curiosity among people about the woman's identity in the scene. While initial reports claimed that she was Natalie Burn, later filmmaker Natalie Burn took to Instagram to reveal the actress' identity. She shared the picture with the caption, "This beauty is my cemetery girl Beatriz Taufenbach."

Toxic in trouble

The Karnataka State Commission for Women (KSWC) received a letter of objection from the leader of women's wing of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday for obscene/improper scenes allegedly present in the teaser. The women's wing requested that the offensive teaser be removed from public view immediately.

In a letter addressed to KSWC, AAP State Secretary Usha Mohan alleged that the "obscene" graphic imagery contained within the teaser has the potential to "cause serious harm to the social well-being of women and children".

Furthermore, these scenes were made available publicly without an age restriction warning and are inappropriate to display as they offend women and insult the Kannada culture. Upon receiving the complaint, KSWC issued a request for the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to take "appropriate action".

In addition, social activist Dinesh Kallahalli lodged a formal complaint with the CBFC against the teaser for "obscene, sexually explicit and morally offensive scenes".

So far, the producers have not made any public comments regarding this issue.
