Shahid Kapoor is seen in a rugged, unconventional role, which is quite different from his recent screen appearances. The teaser starts with an opening sequence where his character is shown on a boat, visibly agitated, calling out for “chotu” during a tense moment.

Shahid’s look in the teaser includes a black vest, a cowboy hat, visible tattoos, and jewellery. His character appears aggressive and emotionally unsettled, with scenes suggesting involvement in violence and disorder. The teaser establishes him as a man driven by intense emotions.
Focus on unfulfilled relationships
O’ Romeo appears to revolve around themes of emotional longing and the consequences of unreciprocated affection. While Shahid Kapoor’s character is portrayed as volatile, the teaser also includes quieter moments involving Triptii Dimri, which gives the audience a hit of a complicated relationship between the two characters.
A line delivered by Farida Jalal stands out in the teaser, drawing attention for its blunt tone and underlying commentary on love and obsession. The dialogue suggests the film will examine how romantic attachment can sometimes take destructive forms.
