Earlier this month, the country was left stunned when rumours falsely claimed that Bollywood’s He-Man, Dharmendra, had passed away. The veteran actor had been admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, where stars like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aryan Khan and Govinda visited him.
These fake reports were quickly dismissed by Dharamji’s wife, Hema Malini, and their daughter, Esha Deol. Dharmendra was later discharged and continued his recovery at home.
Today, concerns rose again when an ambulance was seen arriving at his Juhu residence along with heavy security. Shortly after the ambulance left, security at the Pawan Hans Crematorium in Mumbai was noticeably tightened.

The family has not yet confirmed anything, but Esha Deol and Hema Malini were spotted at the Crematorium. Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, dressed in white, also arrived at the crematorium in his car. He was soon followed by Dharmendra’s Sholay co-star Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan.
Family's statement on false reports
Earlier this month, when false reports of Dharmendra’s death circulated, Esha Deol had shared an angry note on social media: “The media seems to be in overdrive and spreading false news. My father is stable and recovering. We request everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers for Papa's speedy recovery.”

Hema Malini had also reacted strongly, writing, “What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is being extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy.”
Dharam paaji will turn 90 years old on December 8.
