Flight disruptions at Dubai airport

The actor is among many passengers affected by the sudden suspension and rerouting of flights. Videos circulating online show crowded terminals at Dubai International Airport, with travellers waiting for updates and alternative arrangements.

Airlines have advised passengers to stay in touch through official channels for the latest information regarding departures and rescheduling.

Why are flights being cancelled?

The disruption follows recent Israeli and US strikes on Iranian military and nuclear facilities. The developments have led to threats of retaliation and temporary airspace closures in parts of Iran and Iraq. As a result, key international routes have been impacted, forcing airlines to cancel or divert services as a precaution.
