Actress and model Sherlyn Chopra, who recently revealed that she was preparing to undergo breast implant removal, has now shared her post-surgery experience with her followers. In a recent reel, she opened up about the physical and emotional relief she felt after the implants were taken out and urged young people to avoid being misled by unrealistic standards on social media.
Sherlyn cautions youth against social media influence
In the clip, Sherlyn said, “Ye bhaari bojh mere seene se hatt chuke hain. 825 grams each. I feel light as a butterfly. Desh ke yuva peedi se meri guzaarish hai ki social media par wrongly influence ho kar external validation paane ki chahat mein apne body ke sath koi khilvaad na kare.”

She further advised people to make informed decisions and avoid rushing into cosmetic procedures. “Aapko jo bhi karwana ho, uske pros and cons ko consider kar ke, apne family aur medical experts ke sath in-depth discussions kare. Koi jaldbaazi na kare. Bheed ka hissa bilkul na bane. Apni authenticity aur realness ki hifaazat kare,” she added.
Sharing the video, Sherlyn captioned her post, “I strongly believe that there’s absolutely no point in living life with excess baggage. That’s my personal opinion… To each his own. Huge thanks to my team of highly skilled doctors for my breast implant removal/breast explant surgery.”

In another post, she shared a photograph of the removed silicone implants and wrote, “Silicone free! On the road to healing and recovery. Feeling much lighter after the removal of my breast implants, which weighed 825 grams each.”
Sherlyn had earlier spoken about a cosmetic procedure that went wrong last year. She revealed that work done by a cosmetologist left her chin disproportionately long, her lips overly enlarged, her jawline unnaturally sharp, and her cheeks excessively puffed, an experience that made her more vocal about informed decision-making and body autonomy.
