As the saying goes, “Think before you act, but don’t overthink before acting.” Actress Deepika Padukone appears to be living by this philosophy. Be it her personal life or her career, one can notice that Deepika takes every decision with a lot of forethought. In a recent interview, she said that she wants to work with honesty and integrity, underlining the need for being true to one’s work.

Deepika said that she has never compromised herself for money. She has never taken up any project that went against her principles for financial gain. She said, “I have received several lucrative offers in my career, but I never bowed down to money. I have never acted in a role that didn’t have any significance in the film, just for the sake of money.”
Not everyone dares to make such decisions at the start of their career, and Deepika admits she didn’t either. She explained that once her footing became stable, her confidence grew. Deepika added, “Experience is life’s greatest wealth. It’s because of experience that I’ve been able to make many decisions with ease.”
