South Korean pop group BTS on Wednesday announced its world tour schedule for 2026, confirming 79 concerts across five continents. India does not feature in the first Asia leg of the tour.
The tour will mark BTS’ return to large-scale live performances after all seven members complete South Korea’s mandatory military service. The schedule was released by the group’s management agency, BigHit Music, through Weverse.
The announcement has disappointed Indian fans, given the group’s large following in the country and earlier speculation about a possible India concert.

Tour route and confirmed cities
The tour will begin with three shows in Goyang, South Korea, on April 9, 11 and 12, 2026. This will be followed by concerts in Tokyo on April 17 and 18.
A major North American leg will include 28 shows across 12 cities, including Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, Las Vegas and New York. The group will then tour Europe, with confirmed stops in Madrid, Brussels, London, Munich and Paris.
Latin American shows are scheduled in Bogotá, Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires and São Paulo. The Asia-Pacific leg, planned for the latter half of 2026, includes Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Jakarta, followed by Melbourne and Sydney in Australia. The tour is expected to conclude in Hong Kong and Manila in early 2027.
The agency said additional dates in Japan, the Middle East and other regions may be announced later.
India missing despite earlier speculation
Indian fans had expected the country to be included after BTS member Kim Taehyung (V) addressed Indian fans during a livestream in December, saying, “Namaste, Indian ARMYs. See you next year.” The remark led to widespread speculation on social media.
BTS had earlier planned a concert in Mumbai in 2020, which was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. HYBE, the group’s parent company, also opened an office in Mumbai last year.
No official reason has been given for India’s absence from the current tour schedule.
Ticket and scale of the tour
Ticket sales will begin with an ARMY Membership presale on January 22 and 23, 2026, followed by general sales on January 24. Ticket prices have not yet been announced.
Industry estimates suggest the tour could generate more than ₩1.3 trillion in revenue, making it one of the highest-grossing concert tours by a South Korean act.
