The actress married Sujit Basu, an IT engineer by profession, in Las Vegas. Sujit lives in Atlanta. He has been a resident there for almost 28 years. Five months of romance. However, the actress lost her heart in a very short time. On the other end of the phone, Tanushree's voice was excited. Smiling broadly, she told Ei Samay Online, “I found the person of my dreams. That's why I couldn't say no.”

However, although they got married in America, they will have a proper Hindu wedding ceremony when they return to Kolkata. This time, she had gone purely for vacation. She didn't go to Las Vegas with any plan to get married. Everything was arranged suddenly according to Sujit's plan. Overnight, everything from clothes to jewellery appeared. In Tanushree's words, “There was no question of saying no. Everything appeared in a moment. So I did the wedding joyfully.”
The family watched this beautiful moment of their daughter's wedding via video call. Seeing their daughter in such a form, Tanushree's parents became emotional. Sharing her feelings, the actress says, “It's a very good time. What do you call a heart-touching moment? This joy has no language. I want to enjoy every moment together.”
