The maximum temperature of Bengaluru in November remains around 23 to 24 degrees Celsius. But the indirect influence of Cyclone Ditwah is making a shift in the weather.

On Sunday morning, the weather plunged to 16 degrees Celsius, which is very rare in Bengaluru. Cyclone Dwitha is currently moving along the Tamil Nadu-Puducherry coast, which is affecting the weather with its cold breeze.

According to a report by the Times of India, CS Patil from IMD Bengaluru explained the reason behind this sharp decline. "The drop in temperature is largely influenced by cloudy weather and increased moisture in the air, along with the breeze triggered by Cyclone Ditwah.”

Adding to that, he said, "While it is common for mercury levels to drop by 1 or 2 degrees, this time it plummeted by 3 to 4, and the result is being felt everywhere. Despite it being a weekend, people either chose to stay indoors or stepped out only with winter jackets."
