While India and the world grapple with mental health issues, and depression, anxiety and other problems among young people on a steady rise, Mumbai's bicyclists hit the roads to raise awareness and advocate for a better future.
The Loha Foundation, in association with the Sports Authority of India (SAI) organised the Ride to Mpower - Mumbai Cyclothon 2025, which drew thousands of participants who pedalled to destigmatise mental health.
Bollywood actors Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Mahima Chaudhary and IPS officer Shri Krishna Prakash commenced the event. Around 6,000 bikers pedalled through the streets of Mumbai, and the event ended at the MMRDA Grounds, Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC).
