Anamika is returning to television after almost nine months, and along with her comeback, she has opened up about the person who supported her through the most difficult phase of her life.
At one time, her acting on television had touched the hearts of viewers. Actress Anamika Chakraborty was seen in serials like 'Mithijhora' and 'Ekhane Akash Nil'. Then came a long break. Despite good acting, she didn't get work. Now she is seen in a cameo role in 'Phulki'.

How does Anamika feel about returning to work after such a long time?
Her acting as Hiya had deeply touched the viewers' hearts. After that, she wasn't seen much in that way. Returning to television after almost seven to eight months. Her character's name in 'Phulki' is Ritu. However, everyone calls her 'Mausiji’. In this serial, she plays the role of a spy. She is in disguise. She has taken up the investigation of illegal activities.
How does she feel about returning to the screen again? In Anamika's words, “Actually, money is a part of life, that's true. But the mental agony is much more when there's no work at hand. Self-confidence also starts diminishing. It was a very bad time. But I never get disappointed about anything. I feel that if I do this, I'll lose myself somewhere. Many people say, Why are you acting in such small roles? I do it because I love to work from the heart. Actually, this is the time to do something different.”

Even though it's a cameo, she is happy to get such a character. The actress says, “If there's no work, then I have to understand that either nothing is coming to me. Otherwise, I would have felt that I'm no longer relevant. But when work comes, it means I have to understand that I still have importance. I have faith that something good will happen.”
At one time, Anamika had broken down mentally. Who was by her side the most during that difficult time? Anamika's candid answer, “My mother was there. There's no bigger supporter in life than a mother. Actually, my mother was by my side in all situations in the world, and will be. However, Uday also tried to be by my side as much as he could. He also has a lot of work pressure of his own. How much can I keep complaining to him?”
