Whenever she has stepped into any role in serials, she has won the hearts of viewers. There has been much discussion in the industry about actress Manasi Sengupta's personal life. Why is she rarely seen with her husband? She came into greater discussion during the time of her son's birth. However, Manasi is straightforward about any matter. She doesn't have much pretense. But for the past few days, a comment she made about her marriage has raised a flurry of questions.

In a podcast about her marriage, Manasi said, "If I could go back ten years, I would correct one mistake. I wouldn't get married." Ever since hearing this, the online world has been buzzing. Some are saying, is divorce then inevitable? According to others, her relationship with her husband has deteriorated again.

Why did Manasi suddenly make such a comment about marriage? The actress tells 'Ei Samay Online', "I actually said one thing and people have understood something else. I said it very simply. If I were given this opportunity again or asked whether I would marry or not. Or, if I could go back 10 years in a time machine, then I wouldn't want to get married. That's what I had said."

However, Manasi never thinks that marriage is necessarily bad. Even though she sees many people around her having successful marriages, marriage is somewhat different for Manasi. For her, marriage means responsibility and complexity in some cases. In Manasi's words, "It's not at all that everyone has problems with marriage in their lives. Many people thoroughly enjoy marriage. But if someone asks me, I would have wanted to focus on my career. And yes, she has no regrets about becoming a mother. And at the same time, there's no rule that one must get married to become a mother."
