A young woman was allegedly murdered, and her former boyfriend has been accused of brutally killing her. The accused has been arrested in connection with the crime. The incident took place in Haryana.
The headless body of the young woman was recently recovered from Yamunanagar district in Haryana. During the investigation, police arrested her former boyfriend, identified as Furkan alias Bilas, for his alleged involvement in the murder.
According to police sources, Furkan had been in a relationship with the woman for more than two years. However, his family later arranged his marriage to another woman. Following this, the victim reportedly began pressuring Furkan to marry her instead. When she continued to insist on marriage, Furkan ended the relationship. Police believe he feared that the situation could threaten his upcoming marriage, which allegedly led him to plan the murder.

Police stated that on December 6, Furkan intentionally called the young woman to meet him. He then took her out for a drive in his car. During this outing, he allegedly killed her and later dumped her body in a secluded area of Bahadurgarh. Investigators further claimed that, in an attempt to conceal her identity, the accused severed her head and removed her clothes before disposing of the body.
Local police officer Kamaldeep Goel said that a Special Investigation Team (SIT) was immediately constituted after the body was recovered. The team used several technical and technological tools to aid the investigation. After sustained efforts, the accused was traced and arrested. Police also stated that during questioning on Sunday, Furkan confessed to committing the crime. The victim’s clothes were later recovered from his possession.
In a separate incident, another young woman’s body was found inside a well in the Panchgaon area of Manesar. Police said preliminary investigations suggest that she was murdered by strangulation. There is also suspicion of sexual assault in this case. Authorities stated that efforts are currently underway to establish the identity of the deceased, and further investigation is ongoing.
