Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and the ministers of the state have published the details of their assets on December 31, 2025. The asset declarations were released by the Cabinet Secretariat Department, India Today reported.
Nitish Kumar's assets
The Bihar Chief Minister maintains three bank accounts and also has Rs. 20,552 in cash, according to the disclosed details. His accounts include Rs. 27,217 in the SBI Patna Secretariat branch, Rs. 3,358 in the SBI Parliamentary House, Delhi account, and Rs. 27,191 in the PNB Boring Road branch account.
Nitish Kumar owns jewellery valued at around Rs. 2.03 lakh, and a Ford EcoSport car worth Rs. 11,32,753. The total movable assets owned by the CM are worth Rs. 17,66,196. He is also the owner of a flat at the Parliament Bihar Cooperative Housing Society, Dwarka. The apartment has a current market value of Rs. 1.48 crore, India Today reported.

Samrat Chaudhary's disclosure
Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and BJP leader Samrat Chaudhary has substantial savings and investments, according to the disclosed details. He has Rs. 1.35 lakh in cash, along with Rs. 15,35,789 in his SBI account, and Rs. 2,09,688 in his HDFC Bank account. He has also invested in bonds and shares, and bank deposits are held in the names of his wife, daughter, and son. His wife additionally has Rs. 35,000 in cash.
Samrat Chaudhary owns several valuable assets, as per to the details. He has a 2023 model Bolero Neo worth Rs. 7 lakh, 200 grams of gold valued at Rs. 20 lakh, an NP Bore rifle worth Rs. 4 lakh, and a revolver worth Rs. 2 lakh received from his father. His wife also owns 200 grams of gold worth Rs. 20 lakh and a flat on Gola Road in Patna valued at Rs. 29 lakh.

Vijay Kumar Sinha declares assets
Another Deputy Chief Minister, Vijay Kumar Sinha, has Rs. 88,560 in cash and over Rs. 55 lakh in bank accounts, as per the declarations. He has also invested in shares and other instruments, including holdings in companies like Shiva Biogenetic and Power Grid. Additionally, he owns 90 grams of gold jewellery valued at Rs. 9.90 lakh.
The Cabinet Secretariat Department made the asset disclosures public as part of the Bihar government's transparency initiatives.
