After a meeting in Delhi, the opposition INDIA bloc announced that they would be writing a letter to Chief Justice of India Surya Kant on allegations of electoral anomalies and demand the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over paper leaks and malfunctioning of examination processes, The Indian Express reported.
A total of five decisions were taken by the various opposition parties present in the meeting. Congress president and Rajya Sabha MP Mallikarjun Kharge announced the resolutions that the parties agreed upon.
INDIA bloc to demand Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation
Kharge said in a press conference after the meeting, "It was agreed to send a letter to CJI (Chief Justice of India) on SIR (Special Intensive Revision) vote loot and stealing elections. The letter is to be delivered to the CJI very soon". He further said that a unanimous decision was taken by the bloc members to press for the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan as he "presided over the betrayal of lakhs of youth who appeared for NEET and CBSE exams".

The Congress president also raised demands that the government must immediately conduct an all-party meeting for a discussion on a plethora of subjects - from the current economic situation, unemployment, to price rise, and issues related to farmers or people as a whole, as per The Indian Express.
Meeting amid meltdown
The meeting took place at a time when Trinamool Congress chief and former West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is facing a meltdown in her party, with reports suggesting a huge chunk of MPs planning to defect.
Kharge also announced that the opposition would be coordinating in Parliament during the upcoming Monsoon Session and that the INDIA bloc partners would be meeting every two months, with the next meeting to be held in Hyderabad in August.
While Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, KC Venugopal from the Congress, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, Trinamool Congress chairperson Mamata Banerjee, and general secretary Abhishek Banerjee, PDP's Mehbooba Mufti, RJD's Tejaswi Yadav, National Conference VP and Jammu and Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah attended the meeting, MK Stalin-led DMK skipped it after Congress decided to ally with Vijay's TVK, post the Tamil Nadu elections.
