More than 140 flights cancelled at Delhi Airport

Flights at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport were disrupted because of poor visibility. A total of 78 incoming and 70 outgoing flights were cancelled on Wednesday, said sources at the airport. Two other flights were redirected to other airports.

In a passenger alert, Delhi Airport authorities stated that air operations were being carried out under CAT III procedures, which enabled flights to land when fog was too low. Nevertheless, the impact of fog intensity may still cause flights to be delayed or cancelled. The presence of ground staff was noted to facilitate air operations. Passengers were encouraged to remain updated with their airline.
