At an event on Monday, General Dwivedi said that when Pakistan instigates militant activities, it becomes a headache for us. We talk about progress, but whenever Pakistan tries to obstruct it, we have to take action. We will definitely take action against militants and their handlers. If any threat message comes this way, we know who we need to answer to. He further claimed, 'Pakistan is still carrying out cross-border terrorism. Operation Sindoor in May was only a trailer.

India had launched 'Operation Sindoor' in response to the Pahalgam militant attack in 2025. In the Pahalgam militant attack, 26 tourists were killed. The miscreants had murdered them based on their religious identity. In retaliation, 'Operation Sindoor' struck multiple militant bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. India had destroyed multiple bases of Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba.

Indo-China relation

The conflict and coldness in relations between India and China have passed. Army Chief Upendra Dwivedi said that India's relations with China have improved since October 2024. He said that when the political direction is clear, it benefits all levels. The more discussions will take place about the border, the more improvement there will be. He also said that 'ground-level co-operation' with China at the border has also improved considerably.
