Aaron Finch has openly questioned Cameron Green’s form this season, noting that the Australian all-rounder is “not looking the same” compared to his usual aggressive and confident self. Finch’s remarks come amid Green’s string of low-impact performances with the bat for Kolkata Knight Riders.
Time for rest or role change
Finch suggested that KKR management should either promote Green up the batting order to give him more time at the crease or consider resting him altogether.

There's a bit of panic; he's not looking the same as the past. Remember when he was at the top of the order for MI - how he had a totally different intent. He was imposing at the crease. Now he looks tentative. Don't push him down. Push him either up the order, or give him a rest.
Bigger expectations
Green, one of the most expensive buys of the season, arrived at KKR with massive expectations as a match-winning all-rounder. However, he has failed to deliver impactful performances so far, raising concerns about team balance and the return on investment.
