The fans witnessed a thrilling end of the SA20 tournament as Sunrisers Eastern Cape took the game from Pretoria Capitals ' hands by finishing the thriller with four balls left, yesterday’s final was a repeat of the first season where both teams met in the title race back in 2023.

Tristan Stubbs the Eastern Cape captain stood tall till the last with Matthew Breetzke.Notably, Stubbs got his world cup call up a few days ago replacing injured Donovan Ferreira.
In the last over the Sunrisers needed 9 runs and Stubbs hit the first ball for a sweep and it landed in the second tier of the stands, and also made the second ball travel in the cow corner for a flat six.
Match Summary

Chasing the target of 159 runs, Sunrisers also fell into trouble; they lost their prime batters in the power play where they only made 39 runs losing two wickets. The trouble increased further when wickets started to fall rapidly at a point they were standing at 48 runs losing four wickets.
Things started to change after 16 overs, where 56 runs were needed in 24 balls. Time after time the pressure increased and poor fielding by the Capitals and calm batting by the Sunrisers helped them to cross the line. Bravis won the man of the match and De Kock won the man of the tournament trophy.
