Sai Pallavi officially joins Dhanush's 'D55': 'Rowdy Baby' duo is back!

Wunderbar Films welcomed Sai Pallavi on board #D55. Fans will get to see the favourite pair of Dhanush and Sai Pallavi again

Dhanush's 55th film, tentatively titled D55, stars Sai Pallavi. The announcement was made on Monday by Dhanush's production banner Wunderbar Films on X (Twitter). The fans responded with excitement to her joining the project. This marks the second on-screen collaboration of the pair and a fan-favourite from the 'Rowdy Baby' song of Maari 2 (2018).

Wunderbar Films shared a post on X (Twitter) on the announcement, “She’s about grace and strength — all at once. Welcoming everybody’s favourite Sai Pallavi on board #D55. The hit combo returns to the big screen.” The message was accompanied by photos of the actress, Sai Pallavi.

"Thank you so much, sir. Nervous excitement!" the actress also shared on her Instagram stories, thanking director Rajkumar Periasamy on the day after the announcement of Wunderbar Films.

Director, Cast & Producers

Directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, widely known for Amaran, continues to generate strong buzz with its expanding cast. Sreeleela has also been confirmed in an important role along with Dhanush and Sai Pallavi. The music will be composed by Sai Abhayankkar, which will surely bring flavour to the film. Sreyas Srinivasan of Wunderbar Films will produce the film along with Shraddha Agrawal of RTake Studios and mediapreneur Azmat Jagmag. Sandesh Agrawal and Vishwanathan Ramaswamy are co-producers on the project.
