How much will the lowest ticket cost?
From February 7 to March 8, India and Sri Lanka will jointly host the ICC T20 World Cup 2026. All teams will play their group stage matches until February 20. There will be a total of 40 matches in the group round. Tickets for these 40 matches went on sale from Thursday, with many tickets released in the first phase. Notably, the ICC has kept ticket prices very low this time—tickets for some matches start from just 100 rupees.
India-Pakistan match tickets sold out
The highest interest was in tickets for the India-Pakistan match. As soon as sales began at 6:45 PM, all first-phase tickets were sold out instantly. Within just half an hour, 'Sold Out' appeared next to the India-Pakistan match on the ticket counter. Although the match will be held at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, there is no shortage of excitement surrounding this match.
Even tickets for the most popular group stage match on February 15 were released at very low prices. The ICC started India-Pakistan match tickets from 1500 Sri Lankan rupees, which is only 438 rupees in Indian currency. Therefore, the rush for tickets was natural, and that's exactly what happened. However, a second phase of tickets will also be released, so those who didn't get tickets in the first round will have another opportunity.
