India, led by Suryakumar Yadav, will face South Africa in their first Super 8 match of the T20 World Cup 2026 on Sunday, February 22. The high-voltage clash will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad and will begin at 7:00 PM IST. The toss is scheduled for 6:30 PM IST.

South Africa, under Aiden Markram’s captaincy, also topped their group with four wins. They secured a dramatic double Super Over win against Afghanistan and recorded comfortable victories against Canada, New Zealand and the UAE.
