Seventeen Indian players are all set to feature in the Hundred auction, among them, Richa Ghosh and Deepti Sharma are headlining the list. The Hundred auction is set to take place on March 11 and 12. As the IPL franchises have expanded their hold in England’s premium cricket league, it is expected that Indian players will have a good auction day. Also, some reports suggest that Pakistani players will see a boycott by the IPL franchise owners.
Richa Ghosh and Deepti Sharma to headline the auction
Richa has entered the auction with the highest reserve price of £50,000, while Deepti has placed herself in the £27,500 tier. The other members of India's World Cup-winning squad to sign up for the auction are Radha Yadav, N. Shree Charani, Arundhati Reddy, and Pratika Rawal, who are listed in the second-highest base price tier at £37,500.
Both Richa and Deepti have prior tournament experience. Richa has formerly played for London Spirit and Birmingham Phoenix, while Deepti has represented London Spirit.

Nandani Sharma, Deeya Yadav, and Vrinda Dinesh are among the uncapped newcomers, with registration fees starting at £15,000.
Other Indian players to feature in the auction
The two-time WPL-winning captains, Smriti Mandhana and Harmanpreet kaur is likely to confirm their availability. Jemimah Rodrigues, who has been signed by Southern Brave (which is owned by GMR Group, the owners of her WPL franchise Delhi Capitals), is already confirmed to take part in the tournament. Mandhana will appear for the Manchester Super Giants.
The other Indians in the auction include Yastika Bhatia, Pooja Vastrakar, Kashvee Gautam, Shikha Pandey, Shreyanka Patil, Asha Sobhana, and Sajeevan Sajana.

It is the first time that the hundred IPL-based franchises are set to participate, aiming to bring more viewership and revenue to the league. Four teams, MI London, Sunrisers Leeds, Southern Brave, and Manchester Super Giants, have owners who also own IPL teams.
