Hansi Flick’s verdict on the match
Barca's coach seemed unhappy after the defeat to Girona. Flick showed zero interest in talking about the match officials, he cricticised team’s performance, blaming the defenders, he said, as quoted by Barca blaugranes, “I don’t want to speak about that. Everyone saw the situation before the second goal, but Girona deserved it. We defended very badly, especially in transition; we were too open, our midfield was not in the right position.”

“We haven’t been comfortable; we haven’t positioned ourselves well. The team isn’t in a good place right now. We need to calm down, get back to being what we used to be. We’ll give the team two days off so we can see them back to their best.” He added.
It was Barca’s second straight defeat in a row, which had made an impact on the points table and Barca slid into the second position, followed by Real Madrid.
