Many people grow up idolising superheroes and dreaming of having extraordinary powers. Characters like Iron Man, Captain America, Spider-Man, and Batman often shape childhood imagination. From Spider-Man stopping a speeding train to Batman protecting Gotham City, these fantasies stay alive for many. Neymar proved that such dreams do not fade with age, fulfilling one of his childhood wishes at 33.

Neymar brings his Batman fantasy to life

The Brazilian football star recently fulfilled a long-time dream by buying replicas of the iconic vehicles used by Batman in comics and films. Neymar shared pictures of his new acquisitions on social media, instantly drawing attention. In the Batman universe, the superhero is known for using the Batmobile, Batcopter, and Jet Flex—and Neymar now owns replicas of all three.

A closer look at the luxury superhero collection

The Batmobile replica took nearly three years to build, with a team of around 50 people involved in its construction. It reportedly cost about £1.3 million. The car is not road-legal and is meant purely for collection. It now sits in Neymar’s home garage after being sourced from São Paulo’s Dream Car Museum.

The Batcopter is even more expensive, costing approximately $14 million. Combined, the Batmobile, Batcopter, and Jet Flex are estimated to have cost Neymar around $65 million.

A long-standing admiration for Batman

Neymar’s love for Batman is not new. In 2022, he attended the premiere of a Batman movie in Paris, where he also met actor Robert Pattinson, who portrayed the superhero on screen. The moment further highlighted Neymar’s deep connection with the character.
