Nowadays, a lot of well-known AI programs have monthly costs. Users are frequently required to pay in order to access basic functions, such as image generation, writing assistance, and automation. Google has adopted another strategy. It has launched a number of tools in recent years that are still free and are being utilised by small teams, students, and creators.

Numerous daily needs are met by these tools. Some assist in creating videos from documents. Others help in generating images and music, make presentations, or develop basic applications. While limits apply, they offer useful options without a paid plan.

Here are seven of these tools.

NotebookLM Video Overviews

NotebookLM began as a research tool in the year 2023. It now allows users to turn documents and PDFs into short explainer videos. After uploading source material, the tool pulls key points and turn them visuals and quotes. It is especially useful for study notes, reports and training material. The feature also supports several languages and more than one video per project.

Google AI Studio Build

This tool helps users create simple web applications by describing what they want in plain text. For example, it can generate an RSVP form or a feedback page. The result is a working app that can be tested and edited as per need. It suits early ideas and small projects where speed matters more than custom design.

Google Workspace Studio

Workspace Studio focuses on internal tools. Users can create small automation workflows by typing what they want the tool to do. The system builds the structure on its own, which can then be adjusted. It is meant for routine tasks such as content generation or data handling.

Gemini Canvas for presentations

One aspect of Gemini is the ability to create slide decks from written information. Users can request slides with images and charts after uploading content. With a few easy steps, you may update the presentation and export it to Google Slides for final adjustments.

Pomelli for postings on social media

Pomelli develops social media messages that fit the brand's aesthetic by scanning a website. It examines tone, colour, and fonts before making content recommendations. The tool is still undergoing testing and is currently accessible in a few countries.

Imagen 4 image creation

Imagen 4 is available through Gemini and allows users to create images from simple text descriptions. It works well for mockups, illustrations and basic design needs. Images include a hidden watermark and are generated at high resolution.

Multi-speaker audio generation

This feature converts text into spoken audio. Users can choose one or more voices and adjust the tone. It works well for short podcasts, explainers or voice samples. The audio can be downloaded once generated.

These tools come with limits and may change over time. Some are still being tested or are not available everywhere. Even so, they show how much can be done without paying for a subscription.
