The trailer of Border 2 was released on Thursday, giving the first look at the upcoming war film starring Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty.
The film brings together different characters from the Army, Air Force and Navy and places them in a single conflict setting. The trailer focuses on military operations, battlefield sequences and exchanges between commanding officers and the soldiers.
Sunny Deol plays a senior officer leading troops during the conflict. His role appears central to the story. Several scenes show him addressing soldiers and confronting the enemy. One of his dialogue-heavy moments closes the trailer.

The focus remains on coordinated military action rather than individual backstories. Combat scenes mostly dominate the footage, with limited emotional dialogue outside battlefield situations.

The film follows the patriotic tone associated with the original Border that was released in 1997.

Border 2 is directed by Anurag Singh. The cast includes Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Medha Rana and Anya Singh in supporting roles. The film is produced by T-Series in association with J.P. Films.
The film is scheduled to release in theatres on January 23, 2026.
