Instagram has come out with a major update. A significant change in the story feature. Now, any user can reshare any story from any public account to their own profile. They won't even need to tag themselves in the original post for this. Users will now get this facility on iOS and Android devices worldwide.
However, along with this, Instagram is also bringing privacy facilities or privacy control for creators. Creators can turn on or off the Allow Sharing Story option through the app's privacy settings. If it's turned off, that post cannot be reshared. Instagram is bringing this facility to make sharing public stories easier.
