The spell of intense summer heat has eased across much of South Bengal, thanks to scattered rainfall over the past few days. Morning hours have been relatively pleasant, bringing some relief from soaring temperatures.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Kolkata is expected to witness a partly cloudy sky on Tuesday. While temperatures are likely to remain under control, humidity may continue to make conditions uncomfortable.
The weather office has forecast a maximum temperature of around 33 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of about 26 degrees Celsius in the city over the next 24 hours.

However, residents may not get complete relief from humid conditions. An increase in moisture in the atmosphere is expected to keep the weather sticky and uncomfortable despite the rainfall.
