Russia has once again launched attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, forcing emergency power outages across several regions, Ukrainian authorities said on Monday. The strikes come amid a large-scale combined assault involving cruise missiles and drones, prompting nationwide air-raid warnings.
According to Ukraine’s Ministry of Energy and state-owned grid operator Ukrenergo, emergency power cuts were introduced in multiple oblasts after fresh damage to energy facilities. The Energy Ministry said restoration work would begin once the security situation stabilises. Emergency outages will be lifted gradually after the power system returns to stable operation.
