IndiGo has moved beyond air travel with the launch of “Cabs with IndiGo", a dedicated airport transfer service introduced on June 18 and now available across Indian cities through the airline’s website and mobile app.
The carrier says the service is meant to make airport commutes less uncertain by reducing dependence on last-minute ride searches, surprise cancellations and dynamic fares.
The product is powered by Mojoboxx and sits within IndiGo’s broader effort to build a more integrated travel platform that brings flights, stays, experiences and transfers together in one place.

No haggling at the carriage stand
The company is pitching the service around reliability and price certainty.
Customers can reserve a cab by paying ₹49 at the time of booking, and IndiGo says the service includes 100% confirmed rides, assured pick-up, transparent pricing, zero surge fares, free cancellation until pick-up time and up to 30 minutes of complimentary waiting time.
The service is designed to remove common airport-transfer pain points for travellers. The pitch is straightforward: pre-booked airport transport with fewer moving parts and a fixed cost at the point of reservation.
A fresh feather in BluChip's cap
IndiGo has also tied the transfer service to its BluChip loyalty programme. Members will earn 5 BluChips for every ₹100 spent on cab bookings, turning airport rides into another earning channel within the airline’s travel ecosystem.
In its announcement, Neetan Chopra, chief digital and information officer, said the airline’s focus extends beyond operating flights and that it is committed to building a “seamless, end-to-end travel ecosystem".
He added that the service is intended to make each leg of the journey “smooth, dependable, and stress-free". The airline has said the booking flow is meant to remain simple, with cabs available through the same app and website used for flight bookings.
A broader canvas for the airline
The launch adds another layer to IndiGo’s wider non-flight push. The airline has already expanded into hotel bookings and sightseeing experiences, and the new cab offering extends that approach to the airport kerb.
For passengers, the immediate value proposition is simple: a ride booked in advance, a fare known upfront and a single airline account that now tracks another travel spend.
IndiGo says the service is live now on its website and app, with airport transfers positioned as part of a broader move towards end-to-end journey management rather than just flight booking.
