Gold becomes cheaper, price drops by Rs 3,350 in a single day

Gold and silver prices in Kolkata fell sharply on December 30 after consecutive rises, easing pressure on buyers.

Good news at year-end. Gold prices dropped significantly in a single day. Compared to December 29, both gold and silver prices fell considerably on December 30. Gold prices have increased substantially this year. Silver price jumps have even surpassed that increase. Prices rose step by step throughout the day, causing problems for the middle class. Gold prices had risen continuously for several days in December as well, with unprecedented increases seen in silver too. This trend was disrupted on Tuesday, December 30.
