Following weeks of upward trend, Gold and silver prices continued climbing on Tuesday, January 27, following a two-day market closure over the weekend. Compared to January 24, the rise was noticeable, with silver recording a sharper increase than gold, catching the attention of traders and investors alike.

Gold and silver prices on January 27

24-carat gold bar: ₹1,59,250 per 10 grams

24-carat gold bar (retail): ₹1,60,050 per 10 grams

22-carat hallmark jewellery gold: ₹1,52,100 per 10 grams

Silver (retail): ₹3,48,350 per kg

24-carat gold bar: ₹1,57,850 per 10 grams

24-carat gold bar (retail): ₹1,58,600 per 10 grams

This indicates that silver prices surged by ₹13,650 per kg, while 24-carat gold prices rose by ₹1,450 per 10 grams.
