Streaming giant Netflix has announced a major collaboration with global K-pop phenomenon BTS, confirming that it will live stream the group’s long-awaited comeback concert and release a behind-the-scenes documentary later this month.
The announcement was made on Tuesday through Netflix’s official social media channels. The concert, marking BTS’s return after their 2022 hiatus, will take place at Gwanghwamun Square on March 21 and will be streamed worldwide exclusively on the platform.

According to Netflix, the concert titled as, BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG will be broadcasted live at 8 pm KST on March 21, allowing fans across regions to watch the performance in real time. The event will be BTS’s first full-group live concert since their break and is expected to draw a massive global audience.
The seven-member group including Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jung Kook — will perform tracks from their upcoming album Arirang, which is scheduled for release a day earlier on March 20.
Documentary on the making of the comeback
Netflix will also premiere a documentary film titled BTS: THE RETURN on March 27. The film will chronicle the process behind the group’s comeback album, offering viewers a close look at the recording sessions, creative decisions and preparations leading up to the concert.

According to the official post by Netflix, the documentary has been described as a detailed account of the group’s journey back to the stage and will cover the production of Arirang and the meaning of the comeback to the artists and fans alike.
A milestone return
BTS, formed by Big Hit Entertainment and debuting in 2013, rose to global prominence in 2017 and went on to achieve several historic milestones, including topping the Billboard 200 with albums such as Love Yourself: Tear. The group’s return has been closely followed by fans worldwide, making the Netflix partnership one of the most high-profile music streaming events of the year.
