Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has confirmed that issues related to its portal for verification and re-evaluation have been sorted out despite some students still complaining of facing problems using the website.
The portal, which went live for Class 12 students wishing to verify their scores and get re-evaluation of their answer sheets, received complaints of login issues, payment problems, and sluggish speed within hours of being made operational. As per sources from CBSE, the earlier glitches have been sorted out and the portal is working fine from early morning onwards.
Board says portal is working normally
CBSE officials said no fresh technical issues had been reported after 7 am and that the portal was processing applications successfully.
According to data shared by the board, more than 1,100 transactions had been completed through the system by the time the update was issued. The verification and re-evaluation process is being overseen by the directors of IIT Kanpur and IIT Madras, while four banks have been integrated into the payment system to facilitate transactions.

State Bank of India recorded the highest number of successful payments, processing 821 transactions. Indian Bank handled 250 transactions, followed by Canara Bank with 125 and Bank of Baroda with 10.
CBSE officials maintained that the system remains stable and operational despite the early challenges.
Students continue to report access problems
Despite the board's assurances, students across social media platforms reported ongoing issues while attempting to submit applications.

Several candidates said they encountered login failures, payment gateway errors and pages that stopped responding during the submission process. The complaints sparked concern among students and parents, particularly as many were attempting to complete applications within the stipulated deadline. One parent, whose daughter is a Commerce stream student, told NDTV that repeated login attempts had failed.
"After filling the captcha, the page crashes and shows 'Failed'," she said, adding that they had tried accessing the portal multiple times since morning. Similar complaints were shared by students on social media, with some claiming that mobile access to the portal was especially problematic.
Verification process under spotlight
The launching of the online portal occurs amid some delays in the post-result reviewing process, which has gained more significance due to some issues raised against the evaluation process.
Those who have access to scanned copies of the question paper and the answers will be able to apply for scrutiny and re-evaluation based on the new guidelines by CBSE.

According to the process, candidates are supposed to submit certain questions that they feel were wrongly marked for further examination by the concerned subject experts.
CBSE urges patience from students
The Central Board of Secondary Education has made no plans to extend deadlines in the matter and encourages candidates to use the designated online portal.
It is understood that constant monitoring of the portal will be conducted to facilitate the whole process without any hassle. Although the CBSE maintains that the technical issues have been sorted out, it appears that there are still some issues reported by the students.
