The College Board has started the registration process for the SAT 2026 exams that will take place between March and June. Students who intend to sit for the exam can now fill out their application process via the official SAT website satsuite.collegeboard.org.
The College Board has also provided the timelines for each exam session, including correction and modification deadlines.
SAT 2026 exam dates and deadlines
For the March 2026 session, the registration deadline is February 27, 2026, while the last date to make corrections in the application form is March 3, 2026. The exam will take place on March 14, 2026.

The May 2026 session will accept registrations until April 17, 2026. Students will be given an opportunity to make changes, regular cancellations, and late registrations until April 21, 2026. The exam will take place on May 2, 2026.
For the June 2026 session, the registration deadline will be May 22, 2026, while the final date for modifications is May 26, 2026. The exam will take place on June 6, 2026.

Meenakshi Kachroo Chatta, senior Director and Regional Head for South and Central Asia at the College Board, emphasised the need to monitor SAT dates, as reported by Hindustan Times.
"Staying informed about SAT dates and deadlines is an important part of planning for higher education. With multiple test opportunities available each year, students have the flexibility to choose a timeline that aligns with their preparation and university application plans. Through the digital SAT and official preparation resources, we remain focused on supporting students as they approach the test with confidence and clarity," Meenakshi was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.
