Aditya Dhar’s espionage thriller Dhurandhar continues its remarkable run at the box office, showing no signs of slowing down even in its third week. Led by Ranveer Singh, the film has now emerged as the biggest commercial success of the actor’s career and remains comfortably ahead of Hollywood release Avatar: Fire and Ash in the Indian market.
According to early estimates reported by Sacnilk, Dhurandhar collected ₹17.75 crore on Day 20 (Wednesday), taking its total domestic net collection to ₹607.25 crore. With this, the film has firmly crossed the ₹600 crore mark in India alone, an achievement reached by only a handful of Hindi films.

The performance in the third week has been very impressive. Dhurandhar has continually attracted audiences in both multiplexes and single screens, whereas typical in the midweek most of the films see a decline. The movie's third-week domestic total is currently ₹146 crore, showing its continued popularity after the initial rush of release.
On the global front, the numbers are even more impressive. As per figures shared by Bollywood Hungama, the worldwide gross collection of Dhurandhar has climbed to approximately ₹935.17 crore. With steady overseas collections still coming in, the film is widely expected to breach the ₹1,000 crore milestone in the coming days.
High occupancy and consistent footfall
According to Sacnilk, the movie's overall Hindi occupancy on Day 20 was 32.52%. Particularly in metropolitan areas, evening and nighttime programming continued to outperform morning slots, demonstrating strong word-of-mouth and repeat viewing.
The movie had strong weekend numbers after opening to ₹28 crore on Day 1, and it continued to do well on weekdays for the next three weeks. With earnings reaching ₹58 crore on Day 10, the second weekend in particular proved to be vital.
Meanwhile, James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash, which released on December 19, has struggled to match the pace set by Dhurandhar in India. On its sixth day, the Hollywood release collected ₹10.25 crore, bringing its total Indian net to ₹95.75 crore so far.
