As per NDTV reports, Bollywood is expected to grab major attention with stars like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan returning as a global ambassador for L’Oréal. Alia Bhatt is also likely to attend, adding more star power. Filmmaker Karan Johar, along with actors Tara Sutaria, Mouni Roy, and Pooja Batra, will further boost the glamour at the festival.

Indian regional cinema is set to make a strong impact at Cannes this year. As per NDTV reports, Ammy Virk will attend with his film Chardikala, marking a big moment for Punjabi cinema along with co-star Roopi Gill. Gujarati cinema will be represented by Mansi Parekh and Parthiv Gohil. From the Malayalam industry, filmmaker Chidambaram will present his film Balan: The Boy at the Cannes market.

Marathi cinema will also have a strong presence with veteran actors Ashok Saraf and Nivedita Saraf, along with Prajakta Mali and producer Kedar Joshi attending, as per NDTV reports. They are expected to wear traditional Marathi outfits, showcasing their cultural identity on a global stage. Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker will also be there as part of India’s official delegation, representing the International Film Festival of India.
