Once again, controversy has surfaced after the 'Don 3' teaser release. Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has been in the limelight since that time. However, at this moment, his film 'Dhurandhar' has already created a storm at the box office in terms of earnings. The film can be said to be on track to become the highest-grossing film of 2025. After this movie, fans began expressing their eagerness to see him in 'Don 3'. It is heard that shooting preparations have also begun. But now comes big news at the end of the year. A source close to the development has said, "With Dhurandhar's massive success, Ranveer is very clear about the kind of films he wants to do next. He is keen to collaborate with filmmakers like Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Lokesh Kanagaraj, and Atlee, and at the same time, he doesn't want to be seen in back-to-back gangster films, especially since Dhurandhar is already established in that space. That's one of the reasons he has asked Jai Mehta to pre-pone the shoot of Pralay. Ranveer is keen on fast-tracking the project and bringing it on floors sooner than planned," according to a Pinkvilla report.

Is this decision due to the success of 'Dhurandhar'? The film, directed by Aditya Dhar has earned 600 crores worldwide so far. According to a 'Pinkvilla' report, Ranveer Singh is unwilling to act in two consecutive gangster films.

According to sources, "Now that he has prioritised other projects over Don 3, Singh is now personally involved in aligning dates and schedules for Jai Mehta's film to ensure the film moves quickly."

Incidentally, 'Don' is such a franchise where major actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan have acted. Therefore, many believed that Ranveer did not fit at all among such major actors, according to quite a few cinema lovers. However, director Farhan Akhtar never backed down from various comments.
