Adult content creator Bonnie Blue was reportedly detained by police in Bali on Friday, December 5, during the latest stop of her widely criticised global tour. According to local news coverage, she was seen at a police station in Kuta, Bali’s busiest tourist district, after authorities allegedly questioned her over activities considered illegal on the island.

Blue had been travelling through multiple countries in a branded van as part of her tour, which has drawn repeated backlash for the nature of the content she promotes.

Local media say Bali police detained Blue for questioning

According to 9News, Bali authorities have been monitoring foreign visitors suspected of filming explicit content in the region, and several individuals have recently been brought in for questioning under the island’s strict public-decency laws.

Blue was reportedly among them. RadarOnline reported that she had arrived in Bali around a week before her detention and had posted videos and updates from the island on social media. She also shared content earlier in the week suggesting she had travelled to Thailand, though her November 29 video showed her picking up her van in Bali and addressing young tourists.

Blue first gained major global attention in January after claiming to have broken a world record involving participation in a large-scale adult event, a stunt that placed her tour under international scrutiny. She has previously faced issues in several countries during her travels.

Past Visa issues and attempts to re-enter Australia

According to 9News reporting referenced by RadarOnline, Blue’s Australian visa had been revoked last year after the Department of Home Affairs ruled she had breached the terms of her visitor visa through the promotional nature of her tour.

Despite that, she recently stated on social media that she intended to return to Australia during “schoolies week,” the annual period celebrating high-school graduates. She reiterated this on Australian programme A Current Affair, telling host Allison Langdon that she had “good lawyers” and hinted at plans to travel back despite official restrictions.

Her remarks, which targeted young adult audiences, drew criticism from parents and officials, according to Australian media reports cited by RadarOnline.

At the time, Blue suggested that her plans would “cause an uproar,” adding that she expected her return attempt to spark significant attention.
