Arijit Singh has once again dominated Spotify Wrapped 2025 in India, leading the country’s streaming charts while also making it into Spotify’s global top 10 artists.
This year’s Wrapped highlights India’s most-loved songs, albums, and podcasts, offering listeners a deeper and more personalised view of their audio habits.
Spotify has rolled out its seventh edition of Wrapped in India, giving users an immersive snapshot of their year in music and podcasts. The 2025 version goes beyond the usual lists, introducing new interactive features that allow listeners to explore their habits in more engaging ways.

Arijit Singh: God of music
Arijit Singh continued his unbroken streak, emerging as India’s most-streamed artist for the seventh consecutive year.
Pritam and Shreya Ghoshal followed closely behind, while the top 10 featured A.R. Rahman, Anirudh Ravichander, Sachin-Jigar, Alka Yagnik, Udit Narayan, Tanishk Bagchi, and Masoom Sharma. Singh’s popularity extended beyond India, earning him a place in Spotify’s global top 10 alongside Bad Bunny, Taylor Swift, and The Weeknd.
Other best albums of this year
Romance topped India’s listening preferences in 2025. Raanjhan by Sachet-Parampara from Do Patti became the most-streamed song of the year, crossing 246 million plays. Other major hits included Kushagra’s Finding Her, Tanishk Bagchi and Faheem Abdullah’s Saiyaara, and Aditya Rikhari’s Sahiba. Album charts were led overwhelmingly by film soundtracks, with Saiyaara securing the top spot, followed by Aashiqui 2, ANIMAL, and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.

Wrapped 2025 also brings several new interactive tools. “Listening Age” allows listeners to compare their music taste with others in their age group. The “Fan Leaderboard” shows global ranking among fans of favourite artists. “Listening Archive” uses AI to present memorable listening moments, while “Wrapped Party” turns a user’s stats into live competitions with friends. Returning favourites such as Top Genres, Top Song Quiz, Top Artist Sprint, and the Your Top Songs 2025 playlist now come with updated statistics, including total streams for the year’s top 100 tracks.
