Music composer Palash Muchhal stepped out publicly for the first time since the sudden postponement of his wedding with cricketer Smriti Mandhana, days after both families faced back-to-back medical emergencies. As reported by Hindustan Times, his appearance comes amid intense online speculation around their relationship.
Seen at Mumbai airport with family
On Monday, Palash was spotted at the airport with his mother, Amita Muchhal, and other family members. Several clips from the sighting have surfaced online.
Dressed in a black shirt, black pajama, and a jacket, Palash was seen holding a book as he exited the terminal, flanked by security. Though he kept a low profile and walked straight to his vehicle, he did not attempt to avoid the paparazzi. His mother was also seen interacting with people greeting her at the exit.
This marks Palash’s first public appearance since the upheaval surrounding his postponed wedding and his own health scare.
Wedding delayed after two health emergencies
Palash and Smriti Mandhana were set to marry on November 23, but celebrations were halted after a medical emergency involving Smriti’s father.
A day later, Palash himself was hospitalised. As per a Midday report, he was first taken to a hospital in Sangli for initial treatment. When his condition did not improve, he was shifted to a Mumbai hospital on Monday night.
Dr. Dipendra Tripathi, one of the doctors treating him, told Midday that Palash’s condition “appears to be linked to stress-related distress rather than a serious cardiac event.”
Speculation continues, couple maintains silence
Since the postponement, social media has been flooded with unverified claims about alleged infidelity. The couple has not issued any statement responding to the rumours.

Previously, Palash’s sister Palak Muchhal had released a note requesting privacy and asking people to refrain from spreading misinformation.
