The much-loved animated series Ben 10 is all set to make a return in the form of a comic book this May, with its original creators coming together to launch an exciting new comic book series.
Based on the information provided by Dynamite Entertainment and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, the upcoming comic book is expected to launch on May 6. This marks a new beginning for the popular animated series, which has been running for many years now.

The new project reunites the original creative group known as Man of Action Entertainment, consisting of Joe Casey, Joe Kelly, Duncan Rouleau, and Steven T. Seagle, who were responsible for bringing the animated series into existence.
A rebooted origin with a darker, wider scope
The initial arc in the series is to be penned by Joe Casey with Robert Carey handling the illustrations. In the arc, Casey’s plotline features a contemporary reimagining of the origin of Ben Tennyson, where the boy obtains the Omnitrix following the impact of a strange meteorite during his family’s vacation outing.
The plotline features more of a broadened scope of the original plotline, with the addition of factors such as military involvement and an increasing alien threat. The story aims to develop a mythology through several versions of the show by reinventing old characters and themes.
Future story arcs will rotate between members of the Man of Action team, allowing for varied storytelling styles while maintaining a unified continuity.

Variant covers and collector editions
This first issue will contain various variant covers by artists such as Robert Carey, Duncan Rouleau, Dustin Nguyen, Sebastian Piriz, and Eric Canete. There will be a blind bag version that will have some random limited covers and a Blank Authentix cover which is meant for custom art and con sketches.
The series serves as both a reboot and an expansion of the original story
