Career and background
Born as Jung Dong-jin on April 10, 1986, in Incheon, South Korea, Jung Eun-woo studied Theatre and Film at Dongguk University. He entered the industry in 2006 with the youth drama Sharp 3, beginning a career that would span nearly two decades.
He went on to appear in a wide range of television dramas, gradually building a reputation as a reliable character actor. His works and achievements include Bride of the Sun, Five Fingers, One Well-Raised Daughter, The Return of Hwang Geum-bok, and My Only One.
Though most of his work had him cast in supporting roles, Jung's acting was known for emotional control and believability. Jung's biggest international accolade came with the filming of Welcome to Waikiki 2, which brought him international exposure.
