Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu surprised fans on December 1 by confirming her wedding to filmmaker Raj Nidimoru. The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore, following a Bhuta Shuddhi Vivaha ritual. The wedding was attended only by close family and friends, keeping the celebrations strictly private.
For the ceremony, Samantha wore a red Banarasi saree with delicate floral detailing, designed by Arpita Mehta. Raj complemented her look in a beige kurta paired with a gold jacket from Tarun Tahiliani. The couple’s understated yet traditional outfits drew appreciation as pictures from the ceremony began circulating online.

A heartfelt moment that won the internet
One of the most talked-about moments from the wedding came when Samantha reshared a photo taken just before the varmala ceremony and captioned it with her signature humour: “The moment when you realise you are his problem now.” The line instantly struck a chord with fans.
Glimpses from the mehendi ceremony also surfaced, showing Raj photographing Samantha’s henna-adorned hands as she smiled shyly. Close friend Meghna Vinod shared pictures along with an emotional note, calling their relationship one that “uplifts yet steadies” and “calms yet sets free,” adding that she had gained “a brother for life” in Raj.

Samantha and Raj are believed to have grown close while working together on ‘Citadel’. Raj was earlier married to Shhyamali De, while Samantha was previously married to actor Naga Chaitanya. The actor had announced her separation in 2021.
