Popular YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani is back, with a bang! After a two-year interlude, Chanchlani is all set to make his comeback with the horror-comedy series 'Ekaki', which is set to release today on YouTube at 2:04 PM on his channel 'Ashish Chanchlani Vines.' This will be his directorial debut as well.
What is 'Ekaki'?
A group of friends visit a bungalow once owned by Ashish's (character's) uncle, called 'Ekaki Villa.' They decide to throw a party over the weekend at the spot. But their excitement turns into terror as they realise that the bungalow is haunted.
The trailer of the series was released on YouTube a month ago, on October 27, and has clocked over a crore views since.

Earlier this year, speculations were rife over dating rumours between Chanchlani and Bollywood actress Elli AvrRam, after the two posted several photographs together. It soon came to light that the posts were aimed towards hyping the release of the music video of a song named 'Chandaniya' from T-Series, which starred Chanchlani and AvrRam.
Ashish Chanchlani's two-year-long sabbatical
The release of 'Ekaki' will finally end the two-year-long gap since Ashish Chanchlani last posted a video. His last comedy skit titled 'Holi Returns' was posted on his YouTube channel on March 6, 2023. 'Ekaki' will also mark Chanchlani's first work as the director for a proper web series.

Who will star in 'Ekaki'?
Apart from Chanchlani himself, the cast of the new series includes Akash Dodeja, Sidhant Sarfare, Harsh Rane, Rohit Sadhwani, Grishim Nawani and Shashank Sekhar. Kunal Chhabria is co-producing the series with Ashish, while brothers Jashan and Tanish Sirwani are the executive producer and creative director, respectively.
In a quoted X post yesterday, Chanchlani revealed that 'Ekaki' will release today at 2:04 PM on his YouTube channel.
