Kakababu is back with another adventure that feels bigger, sharper, and more intriguing than ever. The teaser of Vijaynagar’er Hirey is finally out, bringing back one of Bengali cinema’s most loved explorers with a fresh mystery to solve.
After the success of 'Mishawr Rawhoshyo', 'Yeti Obhijaan', and Kakababur Protyaborton, Kakababu sets out on a brand-new journey, this time to the historic and mysterious land of Hampi. Directed by Chandrasish Ray and based on Sunil Gangopadhyay’s iconic story, the film promises a perfect mix of suspense, intelligence, and adventure.

Prosenjit Chatterjee once again steps into the role of Kakababu, bringing with him the familiar calm authority and dry humour audiences adore.
Kakababu in the shadow of Hampi’s ruins
Aryann Bhowmik returns as Shontu, dependable and sharp as ever, while Pushan Dasgupta’s Jojo adds energy and curiosity to the trio. Together, they chase the legend of a mythical diamond, 'Vijaynagar’er Hirey', believed to be even more dazzling than the Kohinoor.
The teaser keeps things tight and exciting. There are quick flashes of danger, clever dialogue, and Kakababu’s trademark self-awareness. One moment stands out when he brushes off being called a “living legend,” hinting that someone, somewhere, is clearly trying to put his life at risk again.
