The woman shared in her social media post that she was having breathing difficulties due to severe pollution. Her eyes were itchy, her palate was burning, and she was feeling uncomfortable. When the woman asked to stop the car, the driver did not stop, she alleged. Instead, he started increasing the car's speed. She also added that she started screaming. When she tried opening the car door and getting out, the driver reached with his left hand, grabbed the woman's hand, and twisted it. When she started screaming desperately, the driver stopped the car.

The woman alleged that immediately after getting out of the car, she dialled 100. Despite contacting Uber Safety, she received no assistance. At that time, an auto driver twisted her hand. The Uber driver was still standing there. He kept telling the woman to go ahead and call the police. The car driver even refused to take the fare money. After that, she took an auto to reach the clinic. After returning home, she shared everything on her X handle.

After the woman shared that post, Uber India Support replied to her post. They said they never support such incidents. Passenger safety is their priority. They asked for specific trip, time, and date details.

A post was also made on DCP South Delhi's X handle. Today, the woman has filed an FIR with the police. She also wrote in an X post to ensure that the Police can be reached more quickly when someone is in trouble.
