A shocking crime has emerged from southeast Delhi, where a 22-year-old woman was found dead inside her home in the East of Kailash area. The victim, the daughter of a senior government officer, was alone at the time of the incident. According to police, there were no signs of forced entry, pointing investigators toward someone familiar with the household. The case has raised serious concerns about personal safety and background verification of domestic workers in urban homes.
Accused tracked through CCTV and arrested
According to NDTV, the police have arrested a 19-year-old former domestic help who had been dismissed from the household over a month ago. Investigators believe he entered the residence using a spare key and carried out the crime before fleeing. CCTV footage reportedly showed him leaving the premises early in the morning, providing a crucial lead in tracking him down. He was eventually apprehended from a hotel in the Dwarka area, where he had been hiding after the incident.
